Marizaan and Arno’s Pretoria Wedding at Bayete Estate, Centurion

The venue has a rustic feel to it, set in the garden with all its greenery, bushes and trees make up most of the Bayete Estate and Spa. The tranquility of the Spa seeps into the environment as the spa and wedding venue overlap and flow to become one… Greens and browns take over the landscape, creating a very natural feel, engulfing the wedding environment in a rustic haze.

With pops of green, beautiful leaves and horticulture, Marizaan and Arno created their own perfect little place for their intimate and romantic wedding day.

It’s a Love Story, baby just say yes…

Arno and Marizaan met in 2008, and what 11 years has done.. wow, her brother introduced them back in the day, but they only got to know one another better through their church later on.

Having met my own Hubby at Church, I can TRULY say that the BEST places to meet someone, is at your favourite place, and if that is Church, he (or she) definitely is a keeper!

They became best friends, in Arno’s own words: “She blew me away – in every way possible” and 5 and a half years later they get to promise forever to the love of their live!

The Proposal

Arno: I surprised her one weekend almost a year ago, with a romantic picnic, to pop the question…

The Dress

Marizaan had an idea of a gown she would love for her big day, got ahold of a designer who made wedding gowns, and had her DREAM DRESS drawn up, created and come to life right before her eyes… perfect for her in every way!
