THEIR LOVESTORY:

“We work at the same company and were introduced by my sister at one of the social events. We both are very social people and bumped into each other quite a few times thereafter, when she finally agreed to go on a date with me. We learnt a lot about each other by competing in a team at the 5150 Bela-Bela Ironman event. Things escalated from there. We became best friends and I knew I was going to marry her” aren’t those just the sweetest words from the Groom?!

THE PROPOSAL:

Uys planned the whole thing to the tee. It started the afternoon before the Day of Reconciliation. He surprised Danelle with an evening at the ‘Ou Pastorie in Skeerpoort’ where they had an evening filled with laughs and lots of wine. In the early morning hours Uys woke her up, saying she should get ready, they needed to leave in 30 minutes. Arriving at Bill Harrops just past 05:00 in the morning, Danelle was surprised that she felt so relaxed, being that it was so early and had just been sprung on her, so no stress prior to that morning. “I was joking about a couple going in their own hot air balloon, getting engaged, little did I know what Uys was planning. He did not even finish asking the question when I started saying Yes. He then asked if I would like to see my ring and I was instantly in love with my elegant and beautiful ring” surprised Danelle was ecstatic <3

THE DRESS:

The Bride: “The search process only took about a month. My mom and I made a pack that we will not drive ourselves crazy by going to too many stores to try on. Timeless Bridal was our third and final stop. Wendy was so lovely with our appointment. My dress was the first one I tried on, and every single one after that just did not match up.

{Before the big day : the bride’s excitement is so beautiful to see, “I cannot wait to wear it as it is the most girly and beautiful dress I have ever seen.”}

THE Bridesmaids Dresses:

Hermie Designs was used to create custom dresses for all of Danelle’s gorgeous bridesmaids.

“a dress should be Long, girly and a shade of pink.” and that s exactly what they were 🙂
